Fungal infection(fungal dermatitis)
(Ringworm)
Fungi causing superficial infection of the skin are called dermatophytes, ring worm or tinea infection.
Transmission
Contact with  infected person
Note

  1. The genera of fungi caused by Dermatophytoses, Trichophyton, Epidermohyton and microsporum. The infection is given defferent names depending in the sites affected.
  2. Dermatophytes infection of skin Tinea corporis (Ringworm)
    1. Groin-Tinea cruris
    2. Feet-Tinea pedis
    3. Nails -Tnea unguinum
The classical lession is an annular or arcuate plaque with a clear center and an active edge showing papulovesiculation and scaling.

Diagnosis
Direct microscopy of scrapings
General management
  1. Loacl application of gention voilet 0.5%solution in Health post level
  2. Clotrimazole , Fluconazole -10-20mg oraly single dose 
  3. Ketocarazole 100-200mg/kg/dysfor 7 days
  4. Griseofulvin 8mg-10mg/kg/day for 7 dyas
